Art, nature, history and technology characterise Winterthur's museum landscape. The art collections with their famous works are an eldorado for both art lovers and professional artists. The Fotozentrum Winterthur, which comprises the famous Fotomuseum Winterthur and the Fotostiftung Schweiz, offers a unique historical and contemporary overview of Swiss and international photography. The Technorama, Switzerland's only Science Centre, opens up an amazing world to touch, understand and play in. Winterthur also has a superb collection of clocks, and the Münzkabinett, an exquisite collection of coins and medals, arouses the enthusiasm of amateurs and international specialists alike. Experience the fascination of nature in the Naturmuseum, trace the changing fortunes of craftsmanship, industrial production and design in the Gewerbemuseum, or succumb to the magic of the romantic atmosphere of Schloss Hegi and the Mörsburg which originated in medieval Winterthur.

The Museum Pass opens the doors to all the alternating exhibitions and to the collections in the museums an castles.

Fr. 25.-- (1 day, excluding Swiss Science Center Technorama) 
Fr. 35.-- (2 days).

The museum pass may be obtained from the museums or the Winterthur Tourist Office and includes the use of the special museum bus.

Museum bus

The museum bus runs every hour between 9.45 and 16.45 hours from the 'Stadtbus' stop, Gate G (exit Bahnreisezentrum). The bus serves the following museums: Museum Oskar Reinhart am Stadtgarten, Kunstmuseum und Sammlung Oskar Reinhart «Am Römerholz». «Fotomuseum» und «Fotostiftung»  (See timetable). Most museums offer guided tours outside the normal opening times by arrangement.
