Winterthur is a film city
The International Short Film Festival takes place in Winterthur every year. In addition, Winterthur offers a varied cinema programme all the year round, supplemented by performances of Filmfoyer studio films and a selection of productions by the Kino Nische. Numerous open-air cinema events are an added attraction in the summer. The most important national publication Filmbulletin is produced in Winterthur.
